Privacy policy
Easy Path Divorce is operated by Momal Mansoor Law Professional Corporation ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and our professional obligations to the Law Society of Ontario.
What we collect
When you contact us or complete our intake form, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, city, and basic details about your marriage, separation and family situation. Our website also collects limited technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) to keep the site secure and working properly.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and assess whether we can help you;
- To check for conflicts of interest, as lawyers are required to do;
- If you retain us, to provide legal services, communicate with you and the court, and keep required records; and
- To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to provide our services, for example with the court when filing your documents, with a process server, or with trusted service providers who host our website, email and files under confidentiality obligations. Some providers may store data outside Canada, in which case it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
Confidentiality
Information you share with us for the purpose of obtaining legal services is treated as confidential. Please note that submitting an inquiry does not by itself create a lawyer–client relationship.
Security and retention
We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards to protect your information. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law and Law Society record-keeping rules.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to our use of it (subject to legal and professional obligations). Contact us at info@easypathdivorce.ca or +1 (647) 678-4145.
